About peanuts, fruit and cars

It’s no news that one of solutions to fight air pollution is bio-fuel. But did you know that an actually first car was powered by bio-fuel?
For example Rudolph Diesel, you already know what he invented. He’s last name become famous. In 1900. on World’s Fair he presented patent of engine running on – peanut oil. But corporations decided that peanuts are better as butter.
And our Henry Ford runs his model T, first mass production car on Ethanol. He’s dream was to produce cars that will use veggie and fruit from our garden to “move us”. Dream that we will produce our own environment friendly fuel in backyard. But big corporations didn’t like that neither. The we wouldn’t have all fuel billionaires and all Middle East wars. We wouldn’t need all factories and air pollution. And we wouldn’t even need Al Gore to save us. World would be very boring. And clean.
Big dreams disappeared in big money.
